EN Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance’s model and the quality tier in the bot, at 16 credits a second for 480p and 88 at 1080p. It takes the largest reference set of any model here, up to thirty photos and ten videos, and it is the only one that offers ultrawide 21:9.
When it is worth the rate
When the shot has to look right rather than merely exist. Seedance holds detail and motion better than anything else in the catalogue, which is why it is priced where it is. The sensible workflow is to find the framing on a cheap model, then re-run the one you liked here.
It is also the only route to 21:9. If a clip has to sit in an ultrawide frame, no other model in the bot will do it.
Read the length picker before you tap
This is the model where length costs real money. At 1080p the rate is 88 credits a second, so a five second clip is 440 credits and a thirty second clip is 2640, which is more than the largest ruble pack on the pricing page sells. Nothing warns you twice, so decide the length deliberately rather than reaching for the end of the list.
Drafting at 480p costs 16 credits a second, which is still eight times the entry model. Seedance is not a place to explore.
References and video input
Photos are free, however many you attach, up to thirty. An attached video is not: Seedance bills the reference clip’s own seconds on top of the output’s, and the two together cannot exceed thirty seconds. The video to video page works that arithmetic through. The length options narrow automatically once a video is on the draft, so the cap is enforced rather than left to you to remember.
